Below – PC

Below PC

Below is a naughty classic tale where you rub the open world in search of rare and special loot while struggling against the evil darkness, AI controlled character that uses Kinect to detect and change the level of progress on the basis of surrounding parts.
Announced way back at E3 2013, you might not have heard much about below, an indie brand new game coming to Xbox One and PC, hopefully by the end of the year.

It is the last title of Capybara Games, which is the studio responsible for the likes of Might and Magic Development: Clash of Heroes, Superbrothers Sword and Sorcery EP, and the newest Super Time Force.
Here is an exploration survival game with a magnificent top-down style that makes the hero of the game look absolutely tiny. The world takes over the screen, while your browser is only a moving dot in the dark. This beautiful game highlights the vulnerability of your hero, overshadowed by rock formations, pursued by enemies and puzzled by the strange architecture.
With dark tones, smart and shadows that you can only see a small part of the world Capybara accentuates the sense of scale more.
Below is minimalist in terms of plot too. All you know is that you are an explorer who must investigate underground caverns, but you do not know why or what you need in this unknown dungeon. You must also enter a door in an unusual mountain sitting on an island just as strange.
Similar to other survival games like Do not starve, you are looking to permadeath below. Once you die in the game, you will lose the explorer forever and have to start wtih a whole new character. Well it seems that you venture into the caves a few years later, you will be able to collect any nonperishable loot the body of your previous car you come across it.
Death can come quickly below too. A flick of an enemy can cause you to start bleeding, which, if you do not stretch quickly with plaster or eat something to stop the bleeding and regenerate some health, you will die.
The game features that Capybara called entry-crafting system. Similar to other survival games we played – we look at you, Dark Souls – you can design new items such as soups campfires that you encounter during your explorations. Your intrepid traveler has a variety of articles about him from the start, including bottles that can collect water in the way.

You can also find new weapons and gear. I found a bow and set of arrows abandoned under a waterfall, for example, that I could use to take out enemies from afar.
You will also have to monitor the hidden traps worldwide. I was legging far from certain monsters while I was bleeding out and came across a hidden tripwire. Apparently this is a very basic trap and things will get a lot more complex and dangerous as you move from room to room.
What’s also great about Below is that the world is the procedure generated, which means that every time you play, you will have a completely different adventure. I do not know how it works when it comes to finding your corpse, but it certainly will be a reason to return again and again.
What also has not been detailed is the backup system. I hope you’ll be able to save your game mid-adventure if you happen to have a great game going, as you can not Starve.
