No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either! is a Strategy game, developed and published by SCEI, which was released in Japan in 2013.
The latest release in the “What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!?” franchise, No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either maintains elements from the previous games in the series and wraps them around a “Match-3” puzzle game mechanic in a Free-to-Play game. Players once again take the form of the giant pick “God of Destruction” and are tasked with defending the villan “Badman” from invading heroes.
Defending Badman is the majority of the gameplay loop. Heroes will steadily make their way towards Badman (indicated by a progress bar on the right-hand side of the screen) while the player will combine 3 or more monster tiles to summon monsters (and create more powerful monster tiles) to put in the way of the hero and ultimately (hopefully) defeat them. If the player is unsuccessful in stopping the hero, Badman is captured and the level is failed.
